How do I reach the host of my wordpress website to update wordpress?

    Who is hosting my website blog, http://www.palantepdx.wordpress.com?
    How do I reach them to update wordpress? Can I switch to another host where I can pay to get help with the updating and back-ups?
    My graphics person wants to improve the website but needs wordpress to be updated first? I’m told I need to contact the host to do that.
    We have been trying to figure this out for a couple of months and are now in a hurry because we have to promote the band and upcoming gigs. Please help??

    Hi there, your site is hosted by WordPress.com and we always keep the software up-to-date for you, there’s nothing you need to do at your end on this front. We also keep backups, so you don’t need to worry about it.

    Let your graphics person know that you’re hosted on WordPress.com. This article explains more about the differences betweeen WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress sites.
