How do I rearrange the order of a mosaic photo gallery

I built a website with wordpress.org for a client and some of the pages use mosaic image galleries. On these galleries my client is unhappy with the way it displays the images. One day the order of display was exactly what she wanted and then the next morning she went back to the site to see that the order changed in a way that she’s not satisfied with. Is there anyway to control the order in which the images display in the gallery? Is this a function of the theme, a plugin, or the default wordpress.org setting? Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

For the record, I know how to order images in a gallery the standard way. I’m specifically asking how to control the order in which MOSAIC galleries in particular display. I can rearrange the order of other gallery types just fine without having issues with the way their displayed on the page.
