How do I redirect my domain to a new location

    Hi – I really hope someone can help.

    I’ve registered my domain name through wordpress which is fine but have now designed a new website at another hosting site.

    How do I redirect traffic to my new site with my domain name? Is there someone I can actually talk to because I did not find the instructions really clear.

    You can keep the registration here and change the name servers

    The other option is to transfer the domain to your new host / registrar

    Thanks for the quick response so just a bit more clarification.

    So just to make sure I’m following correctly:

    Select Edit Nameservers
    Custom option auto selects
    Select Add Nameserver
    Enter name from new site – Do I need to put in NS# or is that automatic?
    Select Edit Link

    Then go to the new site and enter info required on that end.

    Will it be at that point that the wordpress page will no longer show up when my site address is entered? Or do I have to select the red “x” to make wordpress site inactive?
