How do I refresh my website after changing/improving a page?
-
I am new to all this (i.e. first website). I launched my website a couple of days ago, but straight away noticed a couple of things I wanted to change/improve. I logged onto WordPress-admin and successfully edited the page, as well as making a couple of other minor changes. I cannot see how to refresh my website to incorporate these changes.
One other issue: when typing my website address into a search engine my website does appear. However it still says ‘Coming Soon’. When I click on this the website does come up, however this is not ideal. How do I get rid of the Coming Soon tag?
Any help you can provide will be much appreciated. -
Aloha dstur3, Once you make your changes and click Save, they should show up automatically. Your browser may be caching the pages and not showing the updates right away.

Hi Geoffrey. Thank you for your input. (Sorry for the delay in responding). With your help the first issue turned out to be easily resolved i.e. ‘clearing the browser cache’. In the last few days my son-in-law has been able to give me some help with the second issue, and it seems like that is very close to being resolved also. Once again, many thanks!

You’re welcome! No worries – one great thing about the forums is that you can respond whenever you are able.
I’m glad to hear it sounds like you are just about set! Let me know if you have any other questions, especially if you can’t get your second issue resolved.
