How do I regain access to edit my website.
-
Hello. I’m having trouble with being able to edit my WordPress website. I’ll go to the sign in tab and type my username and password. After I’ve login in. I’ll click on the ‘Edit Page’ button, and it’ll say the page isn’t working and that it currently can’t handle the request. I also clicked on the ‘Edit with Visual Composer’ button and the same thing would happen. What should I do?

Hey there @bobbypec8bca64de42, can you send a link to the site?
Also, these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs. sites using WordPress code with another host. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link, and we can point you in the right direction.
If it is definitely hosted somewhere else, we’d recommend contacting support for your theme or Visual Composer plugin first, then try searching and posting in the forums for the free WordPress software if you need more help.
And, if you’d like to move your site to our services so we can provide direct help, let know! We’d be happy to help you move your site here.

Okay, I can confirm this site is hosted with a different company:

Your host may be able to help you troubleshooting using the Health Check plugin. That could help you determine which plugin is causing trouble, then you can contact that plugin’s support for assistance.
Then going forward, if you’d like to move to our services so we can provide direct help, we’d be happy to have you! Here’s the difference between WordPress.com managed hosting and the free WordPress software:
