How do I reinstate my website?

    My WordPress website was posted by a freelancer who I can’t get hold of. My website is now down, I can’t login to WordPress Admin or access my e-mail accounts. Are you able to help me get back into my wordpress Admin account to access mybirthbox.com / co.uk and is there anyway to transfer my website and e-mails to another provider without having the details from my current provider I can’t contact??? Thank you, Emma

    Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host mybirthbox.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

    To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.

    Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at GoDaddy. As a result we are not able to offer backups and historical data for sites hosted elsewhere. Of course, we would love to host your site here, where we we are happy to help further. But as it stands now, we can’t assist.

    The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance. I recommend contacting GoDaddy for further assistance. They are in the best position to help. Thanks!
