How do I remove a blog from my blogs that no longer exists?

  I was a contributor to a blog for a while and the site shut down. I still see it on my list of blogs and there’s no way for me to remove it. It doesn’t exist anymore, but I keep getting a message saying I don’t have the authority to remove it. Is there any way to get that off of my account? The guy who ran it won’t respond to emails. He seems to have vanished with his site.
