How do i remove a mapped domain from WordPress dns info is changed on NameServer

  Situation: I currently have the site gikumusic.com mapped to thebrooklynword.com primary site. The domain is with NameCheap and mapped via WordPress.

  I’m attempting to add a new site called gikumusic.com using the mapped domain but can’t because it says that my site is already a wordpress site.

  -i did change the NameServer’s custom dns so that wordpress is no longer listed ex. ns1…wordpress.com (removed, now blank)

  How would I achieve this as wordpress.com has not responded in over 48hrs?

  Any help is appreciated, after this incident I realized that wordpress.com is not as reliable with communication and will be switching over site to the wordpress.org for a higher quality of service.

  hi,

  Both https://www.whois.com/whois/thebrooklynword.com and
  https://www.whois.com/whois/gikumusic.com are still mapped to WordPress.com nameservers.

  Can you try to unmap them again ?
