How do I remove another administrator from my site?

  My WordPress blog was originally setup by my ex-husband years ago. We’ve been divorced for quite some time, and I want to remove him as an administrator from my blog. But whenever I try, it says I’m not allowed to. I’d like to keep the blog I have, rather than start a new one, but I need the privacy of removing my ex-husband from the account.

  Hi,

  If he’s the site owner, then another administrator won’t be able to remove him. The only way to change ownership is to transfer the site to another account. This can only be done by the site owner. See the Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account support page.
