How do I remove “Blog at WordPress.com” at the bottom of my site ?

After I published my site I see at the very bottom of each page “Blog at WordPress.com” . I’m using the Creatio2 template.

I’ve tried editing the template but it doesn’t show any option or indication to remove this wording.

I’ve also purchased a custom domain and assigned it as such.

    I don’t need/want a blog nor have I made any posts towards a blog. I’m very confused.

    I’m on the Starter plan.
