How do I remove "Blog at WordPress.com." from a premium theme

How do I remove “Blog at WordPress.com. The Gridspace Theme.” from the Gridspace premium theme?
My site was running on the Basic Maths premium theme and I just switched over to Gridspace. I also purchased the no-ads upgrade. On Basic Maths you could easily delete the footer to give the site a custom/professional look. How do I do the same on the Gridspace theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The footer attribution must be included (it’s part of the Terms of Service).
If you have any other questions or need anything else, please let us know. Thanks!

Oh, it looks like that change was made recently. That makes paying for a premium theme pretty pointless. I will take my site elsewhere. Thanks for your reply and the info.

The policy has been in place for sometime, though made explicit in the Terms of Service in April 2012.
You can use WordPress.org—the free software that WordPress.com is based on. More about the difference at WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
Attribution is not required when using the WordPress.org software. If you need a host, we have a few listed at http://get.wp.com/hosting.
Thanks.
