How do I remove comment section?

  I am not interested in having comments under my posts. How can I remove the “leave a reply” feature at the bottom of the posts/pages I have.

  Uncheck the box where it says allow comments.

  I am unable to find this specific wording. Where is that?

  I am in the “discussion settings” and unchecked everything and it still has a comment box underneath the post.

  But I want to remove the comment feature from the posts too, not just the pages.

  I know. When I click on pages, it doesn’t look like the screen shot you sent. It looks much more modern and shows hardly any features.

  Did you choose Quick Edit or Edit?

  When I click on the “pages” bar on the left side, it doesn’t show the “allow comments” button, and when I click on “edit” under a page, it doesn’t show it either.

  You should select the pertinent page then choose Quick Edit.

  Okay now I found it. That’s insane how it has it on the “quick” edit page, but not the actual edit.

  What about for posts? That’s what I’m more concerned about. Same thing, I assume?

  Okay now my site is all screwed up. When I click on the categories I had in the menus it says it can’t find anything. What the hell happened.

  Now it’s showing my posts and pages as scheduled. I am so pissed now. Why did they all change????
