how do i remove default widgets
-
I have the Scrollider Express theme, and there seems to be default widgets that I’d like to remove from all pages except the front page..resulting in the complete removal of the sidebar. Is there a way to do this? Ideally i’d like to expand the width of the text on those other pages where there will be no sidebar.
I tried inputting a blank text widget but obviously that didn’t solve the problem. It didn’t allow my pages to expand in width and it left an awkward empty white box.
Please let me know if there’s any way to do this.
Thanks!

You can make this type of change using Custom CSS. However, the code to change the width of your site’s columns can be tricky. If you don’t have experience using CSS, its probably better to find a theme that better supports what you’d like to see.
Here are some resources for learning CSS:

Let me know if you’d like some help finding a new theme, or if you need some help with CSS code.
