How do I remove malware from my site?
-
My site is hosted on Godaddy and I received a notice from them that I have malware in some core files.
How do I go about removing these files? I’m scared to delete something that’s actually needed to run the site…
Here are some examples:

html/duwuolmh.php

Hi there!
This support forum is for WordPress.COM users. Your site seems to be a WordPress self-hosted site(.ORG).

Hi there,
Your site is using the self-hosted WordPress.org software. The fact that you have a .com domain has nothing to do with this. It refers to the version of WordPress you are using and where it is hosted.
In this forum we can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com’s servers. You said yourself your site is hosted by GoDaddy, which means it’s on their servers. We have no access to GoDaddy’s servers, so no way of helping you with this issue.
For help with this, please ask in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead where users have experience with dealing with this type of issue.

Please provide a bit more information in replies to this type of thread. Don’t assume people know the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org or where to find help with a .org site.
