How do I remove my presence completely from your system?

I want you to take my blog down. All I wanted to do was to comment on a blog that is, apparently, hosted by your service. I will attempt to contact that person directly, by snail mail if necessary. I do not do social networking and find your predatory, opt out techniques outrageous. It may not be effective, but I will copy this message to David Pogue. I am angry. And an angry lawyer, though retired, is not to be crossed. Signed, sheep1664.

When you comment on a blog, you don’t have to create your own.
However if you wish to delete your blog you should do the following:
1. Log into the administration of your blog
2. Go to: Tools / Delete site
3. WordPress will send you an email through which you must confirm deletion of your blog. And that’s it

That won’t delete all trace, it still leaves the account. Someone left a guide to removing all trace once – I think it involved deleting the blogs, changing all personal details, changing the email address to a disposable email, then changing the password to a random string and forgetting it.
In practice an account hanging around without blogs won’t do any harm – but if you really want to remove all trace this is what you need to do.
