How do I remove my tagline from my title? How do I have a custom meta desc?

  Hi,

  I’m really confused here. My tagline is appearing in my title as well as my meta description. I want it to act as my meta description but I don’t want it in my title because it makes my result in search engines look ugly and apparently it’s bad for SEO. What do I do?

  You can remove your optional tagline here > Settings > General

  If I removed it, what would my description be in search engines? If I had a sticky post which contained the description I wanted, would it use the content found in that?

  We have no control over what Google chooses to display in the SERPS (search engine page results).
