How do I remove myself as administrator of a blog that I started originally?

I no longer wish to be associated with a blog that I started originally but cannot find out how to remove myself from it without deleting it entirely. Thanks for your help.

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.
To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.
Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

There are already 2 other admins on the page & I just tried to follow the steps… I was able to get to the page to transfer it to them, typed in their username – it just returned me back to the dashboard. So then I tried their email address, same thing. I can’t get off the blog…what now?
