Hi @michaelf21, indeed a logo can be put up where the site title is in Twenty Eleven using CSS. In the area above the header image, you can put an image up to about 125px in height. Does your logo incorporate your site title and description, or do you want it in addition to the text title and description?
If you can upload the image to your media library and give us the URL of the image, we help you with that. The following would be the basic code although more may need to be added and additional adjustments to margins and padding to get everything aligned and looking the way you want. You will want to replace URL OF IMAGE between the double quote marks with the URL of your uploaded image.
#branding hgroup { background: url("URL OF IMAGE") no-repeat scroll left top transparent; } #site-title, #site-description { margin-left: 10px; }The margin for the site title and site description included above is to move the title and description over to the right to make room for the image (assuming you want the image to the left). the 10px is just a placeholder and will need to be adjusted after the image is added.
Let us know how it goes.

Like Michaelf21, I want to edit my footer (only on the homepage), and all I would like to do is have the footer (and the divider immediately above it) be bottom aligned, so that when a screen is larger, the border and footer won’t be in the middle of the page but at the bottom. Any ideas?

Hi @thesacredpath, yes the image incorporates the logo and company name. Having a URL? not sure about that if I upload it to my images here will that solve the Url? I’ll do that now. BUT an bigger issue has come up, my video blog are NOT showing up not sure what the issue is? they’re were there before but not gone?

@imveryape look at some of the early post here regarding that, they were helpful even though I wanted to modify site for different reasons.

@imveryape: You’ve added this:
.home #footer { border-top: medium none; bottom: 0; position: absolute; }The value “absolute” means in relation to a parent element of the blog, not in relation to the browser window. Replace “absolute” with “fixed”. If you want it even lower, you can replace “0” with a negative value, for instance “-20px”.

@michaelf21, I’m seeing Vimeo videos on the main page, and on the Video Teasers page at http://equalarisfilmworks.com. Are you not seeing the videos on your site right now? My first thought, if you are not, would be the possibility of some corrupted cache files. If you are not seeing the videos, clear your browser cache and cookies and then take another look. If you have another browser on your computer, I would also suggest viewing your site with the other browser to see if the issue is related to just that one browser.
If you upload the image to your media library, a URL (address) will be assigned to that image. If you have uploaded that image already, you can get the URL (file link) by going to Media > Library in your dashboard, locate the image, hover your mouse over the title of the image and click the edit link. In the Save module on the right of that page will be a grey field labeled “File URL”. Copy that link and paste it here in this thread and we can help you get it into your site and aligned as you desire.
If you haven’t yet uploaded the image, go to Media > Add New, upload the image and after it uploads and finishes “crunching” click the edit link and you can find the File URL there in the Save module.
I hope that helps and I’ll watch for your reply.
