how do i remove original admin?
-
How to remove original admin? it’s for a different blog, not this one. I don’t want to post it because it could be a security issue. On the other blog, the original admin email is from a domain that I used to own, and the new owner of the domain is getting all email to the domain. I have set up a new admin – twice – and tried to delete it but I always get the message that I do not have permission to delete that user. I also am unable to change the type of user from admin to anything else. Suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.
You need to contact the blog’s owner and have her/him act on this as explained below.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.
To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.
Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.
adding users http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
user roles http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/Then you A can use this process to transfer the blog to that username account B instead http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

I can’t get into the original admin account – I do not have the password or access to the original email used. I’ve been using another admin account for almost three years now. I didn’t even know the old admin account was still on the blog.

I’m sorry but if your username account does not not own the blog and that means you cannot cannot remove the blog’s actual owner. If you think you do own the blog under another username account please read on.
This is all going to boil down to how many username accounts you have and exactly which one registered which blog. There is only one means of account recovery so please read on.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thanks for trying to help. I tried that but I don’t have any of the things that they requested for proof of ownership so I’m not sure that will work.

Fill in as much information as you can on the account recovery form and click submit. Then your will be dealing with Staff in private environment.
