How do I remove redundant page titles from pages

Page titles appear in the menu up above. I don’t want them to also appear on the page itself–how do I remove these?

go to your icon click your blog name, next go to “my blog” next click the blog you want to edit….
next click.. dashboard.. scroll down to pages.. click all pages.. then scroll down to redundant page edit page. delete page. go back..
next go to menu under appearance . select page move it out. hope that helps.

Thanks, @justpi (sorry, I guess I don’t know how to ‘reply’ here!). Your solution (presented below) helped me remove the unnecessary titles on the pages themselves. Under the hood, though, under “Pages” my pages no longer have titles, so I won’t know which is which to edit them! Still, it’s better this way–thank you!
“Tabs for static pages but no page titles on the actual pages
After you add the pages to the menu, click their arrows to open them, type an additional character in the Navigation Label, click Save Menu.
Go to Pages > All Pages, hover under each page name, click Quick Edit, replace title with (HTML for a space), click Update.
Back to Appearance > Menus: delete the additional character from the Navigation Labels, click Save Menu.” -

Yes, you’re right, but that’s the best you can do when you don’t have the Custom Design upgrade.
If you have difficulty finding which page is which when you want to edit one of them, you can go to your blog instead of your dashboard, visit the page and click its own Edit button. -
Right! That’s what I reckon I’ll do. I appreciate your help–those unnecessary headings were making me nuts!
