How do I remove RSS feeds (Comments) on my top menu
-
Hi guys, I have two RSS feeds on the right hand side of the top menu bar on my blog. When I just access my blog as a visitor, I click on the RSS feed and it just opens a window with formulas. I’m sure as a visitor to a blog, the visitor is not supported to access it that way. How can I remove these two RSS feeds?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The feeds will look like random jibberish if you view it as a webpage, but if you use Firefox which has an inbuilt RSS reader, or use any RSS reader, you’ll see the content. So if someone wants to use the RSS feed, they’ll see what they want to see, not the jibberish. If someone didn’t know what they were, and how to view them (or weren’t using Firefox which has the inbuilt RSS reader) they’ll just see the random code.
As for removing them, you’ll need to buy the custom design upgrade, and have some knowledge of CSS to do so.

Thanks for that. I wonder why when I access it when I’m not logged in that it appears jibberish. Maybe because it my computer thinks I’m logged on? Would real clients see it as a normal RSS feed?

Well I’m seeing it as a RSS feed, so it should be working for anyone using a Reader. If you aren’t using a Reader, then it will appear as jibbers. As for clients, those who actually want the RSS Feed, will be using a Reader, so they’ll see the feed of posts and comments properly, and not the jibberish. If the client doesn’t really want to use the RSS Feed, then they won’t really click on it, and if they do, it depends on whether they use Firefox with the inbuilt Reader, or Chrome/IE/Safari, which all don’t have inbuilt Readers (as far as I know), so they’ll see jibberish.
