How do I remove the author and date of the posts?

Most of my postings I wanted to blog it without the date on them, how can I do it with free wordpress account?

Some themes support a feature named Content Options that will enable you to hide information like a post’s author or date for free. You can read a little more about how this feature works here:
It’s worth noting that not all themes support Content Options. We put together an extended list of themes that do support it on the following blog post, which introduced the feature:

If you’d like to hide the author and date on a theme that doesn’t support Content Options then custom CSS will be required. Custom CSS is an advanced feature that’s included as part of the WordPress.com Premium and Business plans.
