How do I remove the Calendar widget from Black Letterhead by Ulysses Ronquillo
-
I am using the Black Letterhead by Ulysses Ronquillo design, which comes preset with an imbedded calendar. I don’t care for the calendar, and since I am using my blog as a fairly static webpage, I don’t really need it. When I go to the widget area, though, I can’t select it to remove it because it’s not something I added as a widget–it came with the design.
Is there any way to get rid of it?
Thanks!

That calendar is not part of the design. It’s the pre-set widgets for that theme; since you’ve designated no widgets. If you move any widget over, it will erase the pre-set configuration.

I downloaded the black letterhead by Ulysses Ronquillo (college classmate) but I do not know how to install it. when I go to Change Theme in WordPress – I don’t know how to navigate where I would be able to install the downloaded Black letterhead. Please help

We don’t allow users to upload themes on WordPress.com. You will have to pick from one available at Design->Themes in the Dashboard.
