How Do I Remove The Date From All Sticky Posts?

I am using the Autofocus Theme – have tried repurposing some of the suggestions people have posted for other themes in my CSS editor, but I am not getting anywhere. I’d just like to get rid of the dates on the sticky posts only. Thanks so much!!

I checked http://juliawilde.com/ and I don’t see dates on any of the sticky posts there. If you still need help, please post a link to where we can see the problem happening.

Ah, okay. Sticky posts only are differentiated when they appear in lists, like the home page, but there is not a way to style sticky posts separately for individual posts like that.

Also, the individual posts display a date heading on the right followed by the post date and time as well as category links.

You could remove just the heading part, but note that it would affect all posts not just sticky ones:
```
.entry-date {
	display: none;
}
```
Or you could remove all of the post meta completely like this:
```
#entry-content {
	width: 800px;
}
#entry-meta {
	display: none;
}
```
Add one example or the other to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page and click the preview button to try them out.

“Sticky post” is only a class relative on the main page of the site. Once you go to http://juliawilde.com/2012/02/19/40/ , then you are viewing what is called a “single-post” and you can hide the date display, but it will hide the date display for ALL posts when viewing a single-post.
```
.entry-date {
display: none;
}
```

That was part of the reason it took me so long to post. I had to think about how to explain it – and break up a cat fight outside. It seems word has gotten out in the local feral cat community that I’m a soft touch and will always put out food. Now if only I can get them all to get along.
