how do i remove the domain expiration overlay on my wordpress site?

  I purchased a domain name ‘sundownunited.com’ for my blog from wordpress. Now that this domain name has expired and I don’t wish to continue with that, I have moved to basic wordpress domain name ‘sundownunited.wordpress.com’. I tried to cancel that domain name but still whenever I come to my blog the browser address bar shows ‘sundownunited.wordpress.com’ but the blog shows an overlay message ‘blog’s domain sundownuited.com expired’.
  Please help me to get rid of this message.
