How do I remove the "edit" link on my blog posts?

  My blog page shows “edit” on it. Does this mean anyone can edit my posts? How do I remove this? Is this because of the theme I’m using. Please have mercy on a rookie.

  the link is only visible to those that are logged in and have edit rights – I see the edit link on my site – if you visit it you will not see the edit link
