    Is that the space in question?

    Comparing your site to the theme demo site you’ll see that the demo site has a round image in that space. This is the site icon.

    You’ll be able to add a site icon to your own site to eliminate the blank space. That’s the easiest solution.

    Other options include using a different theme. You can transfer between themes and aren’t going to lose anything. Go to https://wordpress.com/themes/ and browse those options, be certain to look closely at the header section. We can answer any questions you have about the other options too, just write back.
