How do I remove the home page widget from structure theme?

    Is it possible to remove the home page widget from the structure theme?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    What exactly are you wanting to do? The widgets for that area go into a “homepage” sidebar at appearance > widgets. Whatever widgets you have placed there can be removed.

    If you want to hide it entirely then that would require CSS experience and the CSS upgrade and hiding the homepage widget would unbalance the theme leaving a blank white area to the right of the featured image. I don’t know that the featured image area can be widened and then work properly. It might require hacking of the PHP script files and we cannot do that.
