How do I remove the "leave a comment" from my pages?

I want to remove the “leave a comment” section from the bottom of my pages, but can’t figure out how.

I have tried everything the article suggested, to the best of my ability. I’ve cleared cache, I’m deleted browser history. I’ve followed the step by step instructions (even when the step that I’m supposed to follow is not there!) I have unchecked every box there is to uncheck. Hit save to make sure it took and it’ still not working. I am to the POINT OF TEARS!!!! I have been working on this project for nearly a week and I’m P.O.d I get emails from support staff telling me that everything looks fine on their end but EVERYTHING IS NOT FINE ON MY END BECAUSE I CAN’T FIX IT!!! I don’t know if it has something to do with the fact that I am working on an ipad?! I am at my wits end.
