How do I remove the "Leave a Reply" box on my pages?

    How do I remove the “Leave a Reply” box on my pages? I am using WordPress to create a website, and at the bottom of each page is a “Leave a Reply” box. I’m not interested in keeping that, but I can’t figure out how to remove it. Can you help me please?

    Hi, I had the same problem and spent ages trying to find an answer.
    Go to the page(s) where you want to remove the ‘leave a reply’ box.
    Click on the title of the page. Once you are in the edit section, select the “screen options” button on the top right corner. Then check the boxes which say ‘”Discussion” and “Comments”. These are hidden unless you choose to display them on your edit page view. Then scroll down the screen and until the two check boxes under “Discussion”. This will remove the ‘leave a reply’ option.

    That definitely works! But it’s designed for a case-by-case basis. If you want to prevent comments from appearing on any articles going forward, you can go to Settings > Discussion and unclick ” Allow people to post comments on new articles.”
