How do I remove the Mini Carousel Slider?

  I know this question has already been asked (and answered) here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/css-to-remove-mini-carousel-slider?replies=4

  But the code is not working for me. Perhaps I’m adding it in the wrong place, but if @themarinecare or @thesacredpath (or anyone out there) can help, that’d be great!

  What I’m doing is: When editing a post, I’m going to the “Text” tab just above the content, and then copying and pasting in:

  .minislides {
  display: none;
  }

  This CSS doesn’t seem to be correct because it just comes out as text when the post is published.

  Any suggestions?
