How do I remove the publish dates on index page only for the theme I have?
-
I want to remove the publish date on the home page of my site. I would like the publish date to appear on the expanded blog post instead of on index. It’s confusing for this blog, because it looks like it is the date the couples got married, when in fact it’s the publish date for the blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
You can make an adjustment to your theme’s CSS code to hide those dates.
If you’d like to give this a try, click Appearance → Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your right-hand menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:
.entry-meta {
visibility: hidden;
}Then Save your changes.
That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Also, There is one tile (Lin & Caryanne’s feature) that appears in different colors. Can you please advise how to fix?

Hi again!
Thanks Robyn!! It worked. Is there a WordPress link to other CSS tricks I can use?
My pleasure!
You can learn more about CSS here:

https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customizationI am not seeing this color discrepancy. Here’s my view:
https://cloudup.com/cckF4LoDlIMIs your cursor hovering over that tile? In that case, there will be a different tint upon hover.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Thanks for sending the link. My cursor was not on the tile, but when I reloaded the page everything was fine. Thanks!!
Two more while I still have you…
1.) I’ve followed all the WordPress directions multiple times to create a Gallery in the sidebar but nothing shows. I’ve added lots of photos. I’m creating it by accessing the following: dashboard>Appearance>Sidebar>Gallery>. Please advise.
2.) I would like to see menu/navigation/links to pages on the index page (just under “See Greensboro,…” tagline). Is that possible? I don’t like that all the navigation is under the “side bar” click through. I think older users don’t always know the three lines means there is more to see/navigation. -

Perfect! I suspected it had something to do with the link/hover. Great!

There seems to be an error in your theme. Let me check in with the developers to determine if a gallery can be installed in the sliding sidebar.

Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to place the menu in a different area altogether. Some hidden/sliding menus can be “locked” open, but yours would cover up the whole page. The menu itself cannot be moved, given the parameters of the theme.
Wish I could be more helpful with that!
Drop me a note if you have other concerns. Cheers.
