How do I remove the rainbow banner?

    If you *really* actually care about my happiness, please give me a way to remove the rainbow banner. No one asked me if I wanted it; with an issue so controversial, the choice to add it or not should have been mine. I don’t care if the banner is just temporary, provide me and other bloggers with the option to remove it. We know you can.

    The banner is not permanent (nor is it publicly viewable to site visitors) and will be removed eventually. If you would like, you can remove it temporarily from your own view using the method discussed here:
