How do I remove the Tagline?
-
I have unchecked the Display Site Title and Tagline box under Themes (Customize) –> Site Identity, but the Tagline still shows. It hides the Title, but the Tagline remains.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think there does seem to be a bug here. I’ll do some more testing and we’ll keep you posted here. Thanks for the report.
In the meantime, you can adjust your custom CSS to hide it:
.site-description { visibility: hidden; }or
.site-description { display: none; }…if you’d also like to hide the space that would have been taken up by the tagline.

Hello!
I’m following up to let you know that this issue has been fixed in the theme. You can remove the Custom CSS at any time, and the tagline will remain hidden when ‘Display Site Title and Tagline’ is unchecked.
Thanks for reporting this issue!
