How do I remove the twitter logo in the header of The Delight Theme?

  Hello, please could you tell me how do I remove the twitter logo in the header of The Delight Theme? it doesn’t link to anywhere, if I could update it that would be fine but I don’t want broken links on my blog, many thanks!

  Hi Louise,

  Thanks for reaching out to us on this. It’s a weird one! The theme you’ve chosen displays icons when you have an active Publicize connection using that social media outlet, but you clearly don’t have anything with Twitter (certainly not using the wrong twitter handle).

  I have put this in front of our developers, and as soon as I have any additional information, I will let you know!

  Sorry for the delay, Louise.

  It looks like our developers are still working on a proper fix, but I was able to figure out a work around which will let you remove the logo now.

  What you’ll need to do is log in to your blog’s Dashboard and then go to Settings >> Sharing.

  On this page, you’ll need to set up Publicize for Twitter. It’s in the top part of the page, just click “Connect” next to Twitter and follow the prompts to connect your account. We’ll be disconnect this later, so don’t worry if you didn’t want those connected.

  After that connection is made, you’ll need to go to the Appearance Menu >> Customize >> Connect. You should see the option to set what icons are displayed in that menu bar, and your twitter account should already be selected. Change it to none (it should say “-Select-“) and hit save.

  This removes the twitter icon (though it may not show correctly in the preview, it should now be missing from your front of site). You can now go back to Settings >> Sharing and disconnect Twitter from Publicize.

  Again, my apologies for the wait! Let me know if you run in to any troubles.

  No problem at all. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to remove that for you, but I couldn’t add publicize on your behalf.
