How do I remove .wordpress. ? and get links to Amazon?

    Hi,

    I have the blog “darwinscave.wordpress.com”
    Can you please tell me how to go about getting it changed to just “darwinscave.ca”
    and
    what I need to do so that links will take readers to Amazon.com (I am an “affiliate” for them now) and Audible.com (I will become one for them shortly I believe).

    I’m afraid it’s not possible to register a .ca domain at WordPress.com. Although you can register .com .net and .org with us. If that is what you want, you can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there. Also, you may want to review the following guide before going through the process.

    Otherwise register the .ca domain at another registerar and map it to your WordPress.com blog following the steps above.

    I am sorry, but advertising at WordPress.com is not allowed.
    There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
