How do I remove wordpress from my domain?

Over a year ago I purchased my domain at godaddy and mapped it to WordPress. I found it difficult to manage wordpress and thus never used the site. I recently created a site elsewhere and need to have my domain pointed to the new site. After hours of trying I still have not been successful.
Please help!

To point your domains to a new hosting provider, you can update your name servers following the directions here:
