I have updated our plan to the $48 per year.
I have set the primary domain to tacoremedical.com – is this correct? We host the domain with a 3rd party – Grandsaline.
It says it may take a few hours, I want to ensure it is set up properly, again – the goal is to have just tacoremedical.com as the url; without wordpress in it.

To use your domain hosted elsewhere with your WordPress.com site, you will need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them to WordPress.com nameservers.
The nameservers are:NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

Make sure you are not forwarding or masking your domain, but have set your domain name servers to what @kosiew has given. Once those are set to the above, domain propagation can take up to 72 hours, but it is usually much quicker and the domain owner is usually the last to see it. You can watch your domain propagation on this website https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/tacoremedical.com If you continue to see your underlying wordpress.com URL after that time, you’ll want to hard refresh your browser window and/or empty your browser cache and cookies.
