How do I RENEW a domain registrationon my FREE account when I forgot the PIN

    How do I RENEW a domain registration for my FREE account when I forgot the PIN number that GoDaddy needs. The domain page says “You don’t have upgrades yet”.

    My domain expires on March 11 of next year. Am I trying to renew too early? Will I need my PIN to renew, or will WordPress handle the pin when I simply upgrade when I get the notice from them? Dos WordPress privately have the PIN because I should be renewing to domain directly through them?

    @jeff – since you are registered at WordPress.COM (a whois shows Wild West Domains – that means through WordPress.COM) you should be able to renew your domain starting about 90 days before the renewal date, no PIN number required –

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> There is also the Auto Renew which should renew automatically at the 30 day point – but you should be able to renew manually at 90 days

    Are you trying to renew the domain jeffsmariners.com?

    To do that, you’ll need to log into the account that’s associated with it (which is not jeffsmarinersblog). If your need help accessing that account, let me know and I help get that sorted out.
