How do I renew an expired domain?

    My domain (www.storiesaboutgigs.com) recently expired, and I received no advanced notification. This website does not clearly state how I should renew my expired domain. Please help.

    Hi there!

    For most TLDs registered through WordPress.com, an expired domain falls into a grace period for about 10 days to two weeks. During this short window, the domain can be renewed at the regular price. If you experience difficulty renewing your domain during this time, go to the Help section. There will be a link to contact Support for further assistance.

    Howdy –

    This domain is connected to a different user account. To renew it, you’ll need to sign in to the correct account. I suspect this is why you didn’t receive the renewal notifications. The emails are sent to the address listed at wordpress.com/me/account/ on the domain owner’s account.

    Keeping a payment method on file for auto renewal will also prevent the loss of a domain due to expiration. You can add payment details with these instructions:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/

    To complete the renewal, go to wordpress.com/me/purchases once you are able to sign in correctly. I’ve sent a note to the email address that you need to use for signing in.
