How do I renew domain now the original creator has left

  I need to renew by 20th August and got a reminder from an ex-colleague who set it up. When I go in and try and pay for it, it won’t let me. I got a message asking whether I was sure I wanted to do it as not all activities were supported – not sure what that means. I really don’t want to domain address to expire.
