How do I renew my domain during the grace period?

    I thought that my domain expired on October 17, so I came to the website to renew it and it turns out it expired on October 14. And when I click to renew it, it just takes me to some setting/upgrade page. All I want to do is pay the basic $29 renewal fee and get back at this please. Thank you.

    Expired means over, finished, complete, done. Renewing prior to domain expiration means you still own the domain URL, but when you allow it to expire you no longer own it. The registrar owns it and can charge whatever redemption fee they choose to to get it back, or they can refuse to sell it back to you, and auction it off to a domain squatter instead.     Hi there!

    Your domain registration for blesfoundation.org expired but is still currently in the grace period. During the grace period you are still able to renew the domain without the redemption fee. The link timethief provided helps explain the difference between the grace period and redemption period.

    To renew, you’ll need to log in as the user who purchased the upgrade, and visit the blog’s Store > My Upgrades menu. Click “Renew Now” to the right of the domain name and you’ll be guided through the purchase.

    I encourage you renew quickly to avoid that redemption process and the extra fee.

    You are probably not logged in as the account that owns the Upgrade – is there another account you might have used to purchase the upgrade?
