How do I report a wordpress powered spam blog
-
I am unable to report wordpress powered spam blog–I was given the message that the site I wanted to report is not a wordpress site (though it says, obviously, at the bottom of the site page that it is powered by wordpress)?
There should really be a more efficient way to report spam bloggers. Lately, I am not even able to pull up their gravatar to report that as well.
I’m not sure what is going on, but in the past three months using WP I have only had 3 new legitimate bloggers “follow” my blog, yet I have had two dozen spam bloggers follow it and I am unable to report them, too recently. Am I doing something wrong?
Why can’t I find efficient instructions that work consistently to report blogs “powered by wordpress”. I have a screenshot that I will load in my media library!
I’d really like to have these spam blogs removed permanently from my followers count… Please help!

You can report it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/
Please note it could be a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, not a WordPress.com blog. We only have control over WordPress.com blogs.

Yeah. I figured it out that the sploggers are now becoming craftier and hosting their own WP.org blogs…
It’s a never ending battle I guess! thanks for the help!
