How do I report nasty spam response to my survey?
-
I made this silly survey:
just to try out making a survey and it was all fine until this morning I got 3 emails notifying me of responses but they were clearly from some kind of nasty bot. I would like to report them so it might be possible to block it, but I can only find how to report an actual blog.
The responses were all similar and did not seem to be from a human because they made no sense in context, also all three were posted within one minute of each other. A quick scan confirmed they had unpleasant sexual content which upset me. I have no idea what the purpose of such a thing would be and just in case it is more dangerous than it appears I would prefer to report it so the experts can check. I expect it would normally have been picked up if it had been in the comments section, but maybe surveys are not protected by that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like completely ordinary sex spam. Just mark it as spam in your email folder. That will block similarly inappropriate spam, but let legit responses through.

Thanks for your response, but I can’t mark it as email spam as the emails are from WP. It puts me off using the survey feature if it is not protected the way comments are, I wonder if there are any plans to rectify this?

Polldaddy runs the polls and surveys, while WordPress runs the blogs and uses Akismet on the comments. I don’t know if it’s even possible to use Akismet on the survey responses.

Thanks, I had a look back to see if I could then report it to them, and found out that it was actually the contact form and found some info on that as to how to mark it as spam, so I have done so. Not sure how I missed it before.
