How do I repost previously posted material?

Trying to figure out how to repost some previously posted works

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’d just make it Sticky to put it at the top, but you can change the date if you want. Unfortunately that breaks incoming links, so you lose all the links that had gone to the post.

Can I not just copy/paste the edit page to a new post and repost it that way?

You can, but search engines consider that duplicate spam, and downgrade your whole blog. You can also make a text widget with “Best of” as the title and put in whichever links you want to feature. Or a sticky post that lists your best. If it’s small, that would work.

Thanks. the idea was to repost all (approx. six) of my mother earth/planet earth related posts on earth day leading up to the finale of a brand new earth day inspired poem to close out the earth day celebration. Seems like I may just have to include links to my previous posts along with my new original post, unless you or anyone else has any suggestions. I certainly don’t want to bring on the spam tag.

I would create and publish a new post with fresh text in it and include and backlink to brief quotes from all 6 earlier posts in the fresh post.

Thank you. That may be the direction I will have to go. How would I go about choosing and separating sections to backlink and how specifically do I backlink them in the most time efficient manner? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

1. Select a single, unique and brief quote from each earlier post.
2. Copy and paste into new post.
3. Backlink each quote to the post it was extracted from.

This is the general link model:
Highlighted anchor text here
This is the visual result – it’s not actually linked here in the forum.
Highlighted anchor text here

1. Enter the relevant descriptive anchor text you want to link to first. Note that “here” is not a good choice.
2. Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. (If you don’t highlight the anchor text the chain icon will remain grayed out and not be useable.)
3. Next click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link.
