How Do I Rescue My Old Blog With No Valid Email?

    I’m actually trying to rescue an older blog I was admin to about a year ago. I cannot remember the username and the email it was registered with has been deleted. I have no idea how to recover this blog, and I’d hate to just let it go to waste.

    We determine ownership by email address. If you are unable to access the email address a blog is filed under, then you can provide us with the API key that was sent to you in your welcome message when you signed up for the account. You should send that to support@wordpress.com directly and not post it in a public forum. If you email directly, you should include as much detail as possible including a link to this forum thread.

    If you don’t have access to the email address on file or the API key, then you may not be able to regain access to a blog. What you can do is just keep trying to remember the password, a lot of times people can remember or guess it after a few tries.
