How do I resolve tag and catagory conflicts on my site, confused!

    Recently I’ve been reporting issues relating to use of tags. From the beginning I tried to learn blogging by reading many of the helps but I’ve missed or not understood the relationships between tags and catagories. Now that there are issues, how do I clean this up?

    1. tags are optional– so should I get rid of the tags? (at least for starters)

    2. should and can I erase and start with new catagories now that I am beginning to understand due to the concerns I’ve already received some help on from the forum?

    3. I’m getting this page does not exist & not found. I did remove some tags when I thought I was attempting to follow what I was advised about tags being associated with one site is frowned upon by WP and search engines.
