how do I restore classic editor to my widgets, please?

    I just tried to customise my widgets in my sidebar and it’s defaulted to block editor. How to I restore classic editor? Thank you.

    Ah, so either I upgrade (again!) to business plan, or I leave.

    Hi there!

    The block widget is newly introduced in the core WordPress.org software (learn more about that here) which replaces the classic widgets section. It’s still possible to use the classic widgets until it’s removed, but that requires the Classic Widget plugin.

    On WordPress.com sites, a Business plan or higher is needed to install any plugin.

    Was there anything in particular that you had trouble with when working with the block widget? We’d love to help so feel free to let us know if you run into any issues or difficulties with the block widgets.
