How do I restore the visibility of dates to my posts?

    I made some adjustments to my theme (background, colours) yesterday. When in the “customize” mode, the dates still appear for individual posts, but they are not visible when scrolling through the site … until and unless I click on an individual post’s title. Only then, when the post is expanded to full screen, is the date visible again.

    Help, please and thanks. I was also in the “Theme Options” screen yesterday, but don’t think I made any revisions that would impact this. – S
