How do I resurrect my favourite old posts into a widget thingy?
-
What i want to do is show the titles only of what i deem to be the best posts in a widget like blogroll.
As i can see that only those that are clicked on repeatedly are always the most recent and i want folks to have some choices
And not keep clicking on old news!
Like Zimbabwe for instance – it would piss me off if i spent time clicking on it and find it isn’t the latest news [as there isn’t any i can find] and it keep this post there because new people keep selecting it!
Do i need to delete it temporarily? Switch it off? Can one “hide ” it?
to give other posts a chance
want i would like to have is a blogroll equivalent, of my favourite posts and another, being the existing blogroll widget thingy! Is this what i need to do?
can one have 2 blogrolls?!
can i only use the blog roll? But i do want to have other sites on my blog roll too but separate
pheeeyouuu
i think i’ve explained it adequately![or not] -
You technically can have endless blogrolls. When doing your links, you designate a category. And you can separate links this way. Create a Category for each type of link you want. When it shows on the sidebar, it will be titled, separately by link category.
-
Manage—> Links—-> Add New—-> scroll down to Category and select a title for what category you want that link designated, repeat
Goodnite, just realized it’s 4 in the morning!
-
If you already have links on blogroll. Then click on already added link and go down to Category, and designate a title.
